Hi, I’m Colleen.

Colleen McCormick, M.A., BCBA, LBA-CT

I am a seasoned Behavior Analyst and teacher. Coaching, consulting and behavior analysis are my areas of expertise. 

I analyze one’s actions and thought patterns, as well as the consequences and environment in order to create change across all facets of life… thoughts and actions, relationships, health and wellness, emotional and mental health.

Behavior analysis is an active therapy, made up of strategies that shape the way one acts or reacts either physically, mentally or emotionally into healthier replacements. It is a scientific, problem-solving approach to improving the quality of one’s life.

You certainly won’t just lie on a couch and talk… you’ll take action and create meaningful change within your life!

My therapy goal to to increases one’s awareness of how internal and external triggers result in negative responses, which can be physical, mental, or emotional behaviors. Once  n unwanted behavior or pattern is recognized, alternative coping and learning strategies are developed. It is the hope to fill one’s toolbox so that in the future one will be able to recognize their own behavior and have the tools necessary to make desired changes. 

First, we will explore your current concerns within life and pinpoint what changes (aka goals) that need to happen. Then we create action steps to reduce those unwanted behaviors & thoughts while creating new, healthy, and positive replacements.

Over the years I have come to realize my true passion is helping others overcome life’s barriers. I strive to inspire and be the reason someone doesn’t give up. “Helping one person may not change the world, but it can change the world for one person.” (anonymous)
